Finals

Its that time of year again. Finals. Last week it was -18 when I went out to Sugar City for Group Dynamics. I think the high was 2 degrees. This has been my busiest semester ever. I have learned a lot, but I will be glad to see Friday come, when I am in Utah.
Also, Brynn was in a car accident on Friday. A high school teenager turned right into her on the drivers side. Her great little white Corolla was totaled. I spent quite a bit of time looking for a new car for her this weekend. Hopefully we get her into a nice newer one.

November closing

Today is the last day of November. It has been a great month. A time to reflect on those people and events in our lives that have made an impact. A time to be grateful for the small things in life. A time to look past the petty differences, and come together to uplift, and encourage to improve our lives. To love and stretch forth a hand to help to those in need. This is a time to look to toward that ultimate example, the Prince of Peace. We shouldn't ask, "Why should I act better?", but "How would the Savior want me to act?".

November

The Bronze Bow
I finally finished The Bronze Bow last night. I started it last year, started over and just read a few pages when I got a chance. I decided to sit down and just finish it. It was about a third of the book that I read last night. It was a good book. What was most interesting to me was the progression of the main character, Daniel. He harbors his hate for Romans and it lets that get in the way of his personal relationships. It was when he truly listens to the teachings of Christ that he changes. I have one more week of school before Thanksgiving break. I am looking forward to a week "off". I will be writing and rewriting papers for the end of the semester.

Good News on the way......
It is a blustery, rainy day in Rexburg, but everything seems so bright and vibrant! Just some great things are happening in little old Rexburg.
